This week our teacher candidate from San Jose State will be teaching everyday. She will follow the plans and curriculum that I've been using thus far with my students.

We are starting our Topic 2 in math on Numeration. Our story of the week is The Keeping Quilt and we are finishing up the first chapter of our science textbook on Space. Last Friday I sent home Picture Day Forms, please mark the date on your calendars for October 7th. The form has the information needed for ordering online as well, just make sure it's done beforehand.

Thank you for the donations from our Book Fair. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.
